Based on an idea by three managers with long experience in telecommunications, FibreConnect has Macquarie Capital as its main equity investor, and Azimut Libera Impresa Sgr SpA, on behalf of the managed fund IPC(Infrastrutture per la Crescita), one of Italy's leading infrastructure funds.

FibreConnect contributes to the development of the Italian economy, based mainly on small and medium-sized enterprises, by bridging the infrastructure gap to make fiber optics a critical success factor for our industries.
Mission
Our mission is to serve the currently uncovered or underserved Industrial and Artisanal Areas (AIAs) by building a redundant and meshed fiber-optic network, offering high-performance and ultra-high availability communication services.
Our "Wholesale Only" business model targets local telecom operators and is characterized by the quality and reliability of the services that are provided.

More than 33 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, holding general manager roles for telecom operators, and participating in the development of Terna's fiber optic business and long-term connectivity for TIM Sparkle, Retelit, and Fastweb.
GIOVANNI CIALDINO
CFO
More than 10 years of experience in business diversification, corporate finance, and global M&A transactions valued at more than $3 billion in the predominantly infrastructure field.

DEPUTY GENERAL MANAGER
More than 30 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, former CEO and general manager of Infratel, worked with the government to define the Broadband Strategic Plan.
