Less than five years after its foundation, the company is accelerating its growth with the aim of strengthening its market position.
Rome, May 12th 2026 – FibreConnect, a private and independent operator providing high-performance, reliable connectivity services to businesses in Italy’s Industrial and Artisanal Areas (AIA), announces a change in its senior management: Fulvio Siotto has been appointed as the new Managing Director, Luca Scano has been appointed Chairman, whilst Giovanni Mercante takes on the role of Chief Financial Officer.
Founded in 2022, FibreConnect is now entering a phase of full maturity, enabling it to focus on creating value for customers through a structured approach to listening to their needs and the ability to deliver bespoke, flexible, high-performance and economically sustainable connectivity and digital security solutions.
This new phase of development is therefore accompanied by an evolution in governance, designed to strengthen the planning, execution and scalability of the business model.
Special thanks go to FibreConnect’s Founders – Renzo Ravaglia, Giovanni Cialdino and Franco Fabbriciani – who brought the company’s industrial project to life, making a decisive contribution to building the foundations for its new phase of growth.
“I would like to thank the shareholders for the trust they have placed in me. Thanks to the hard work and dedication of the previous Board, FibreConnect has reached full industrial maturity, having built a solid infrastructure in just a few years, which now requires a significant acceleration in terms of take-up. Our goal now is to expand our customer base, focusing on the needs of businesses and providing the most advanced and secure technological solutions to enable them to tackle the challenge of the digital transition, which still has a significant impact on the country’s economic fabric,” said Fulvio Siotto, General Manager of FibreConnect.
FibreConnect has built and directly manages a 4,200-kilometre backbone network, interconnected with all the main Italian Internet Exchange Points, thus ensuring high standards of reliability and performance.
By the end of 2025, the company had signed 87 agreements with Internet Service Providers, significantly expanding its distribution capacity. The connection is now available to over 60,000 businesses across the country and has around 10,000 active customers across fiber and FWA (Fixed Wireless Access) services, confirming the strength of the business model and the market’s growing confidence.
FibreConnect is an Italian ultra-broadband connectivity provider focused on the needs of businesses, offering solutions designed to suit different sectors, company sizes and geographical areas. Thanks to its proprietary infrastructure, the company fosters innovation and competitiveness within the business community, providing services that meet high standards of quality, flexibility and cost-effectiveness.
The company is controlled by two strong shareholders with an institutional profile that guarantee business stability and continuity: Fondo Infrastrutture per la Crescita – ESG, managed by Azimut Libera Impresa Sgr and the pan-European infrastructure fund Marguerite III.
