The Emilia-based operator joins the FibreConnect Group to support the expansion of the fiber optic network across Italy’s industrial areas.
Rome, October 13, 2025 – FibreConnect, a national operator specializing in the development and management of fiber optic networks dedicated to the business world, announces the entry of Comeser, a telecommunications company headquartered in Fidenza (PR), into the Group.
This operation is part of FibreConnect’s growth and consolidation strategy and aims to further enhance its infrastructure network and expand its ability to deliver high-performance fiber optic services to all Italian businesses, regardless of their sector or geographic location.
The addition of Comeser allows the Group to extend its national presence and to combine complementary expertise, strengthening its position among the leading Italian operators dedicated to business connectivity.
Founded in 2004, Comeser is a well-established player in the Italian telecommunications sector. The company provides fiber optic, radio link, and satellite connectivity services, complemented by advanced solutions in VoIP, Data Center, cybersecurity, video surveillance, and satellite geolocation.
«The entry of Comeser into the FibreConnect Group marks a strategic step in the development of our network and capabilities», said Giovanni Cialdino, CCO of FibreConnect. «Sharing the same vision, focused on extending connectivity to businesses across the country, will enable us to accelerate investments and strengthen our ability to deliver reliable, high-performance digital solutions to Italy’s productive ecosystem».
Gianluca Scarazzini, President of Comeser, added: «Becoming part of the FibreConnect Group is a recognition of the growth path Comeser has built over the years, maintaining a strong focus on service quality and close ties with local communities. Our shared goal is to bring fiber optic and next-generation digital services to an ever-increasing number of companies, helping boost their competitiveness and drive digital transformation».
Comeser will continue to operate under its own brand and organizational structure while integrating into the operational and strategic synergies of the FibreConnect Group, which today includes more than 4,000 km of proprietary fiber optic backbone and access networks in over 150 industrial and craft areas, supported by a team of about 90 professionals across its offices in Rome and Fidenza.
«The entry of Comeser represents a further strengthening of our mission: to contribute to the digital development of Italian businesses by promoting business-oriented connectivity», concluded Cialdino.
