In 2023, the digital market grew by 2.1 percent, worth 78.7 billion euros.
In particular, investment in ICT Services has increased, thanks to the increasing deployment of Cloud Computing services, Artificial Intelligence technologies and enhanced Cybersecurity.
The forecast, for the years 2024-2027, confirms the trend, both for the digital market and for investments in billions.
ICT and digital services, therefore, are becoming more and more widespread, highlighting the need for companies and enterprises to adapt to the latest technologies and stay ahead of the curve. Digitization goals bode well thanks to growing trends: statistics from the Assintel report dedicated to the ICT and digital market, in fact, tell of significant increases in investment in technological endowments. In the period between 2022 and 2024, the IT market is showing an increase of 8.4 percent.
This is absolutely positive and highlights the increase in investment in the sector .
The CIO Survey 2023 carried out on major banking institutions found that the main areas in which they have invested and experienced the most growth since 2022 are Cybersecurity and Artificial Intelligence.
